Sahar of Sadbury is hiring to add 02 Chefs (NOC: 62200) to their team.



Responsibilities:

-Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff

-Create new recipes

-Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

-Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions

-Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs

-Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants

-Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards



Key Tasks:

1. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to the cooking staff

2. Create new recipes, Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food, Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets

3. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants

4. Introduce new flavors and improve taste of our menu food

5. For Tandoori Chef, the Candidate is capable on Tandoori items including Naan, and chicken tikka, malai Boti, wings, tandoori chicken, green/Haryali chicken and Paneer tikka

6. For Curry Chef, the Candidate should be capable on Chicken Karahi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Chicken Achari, Vegetable curries, Lamb Curries, Roti and Paratha cooking

**The restaurant needs Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling

Job Requirements:

-Secondary High School

-1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience



Wages:

$20.00 to $26.00 Per Hour/ 40 Hours Per Week (negotiable)
