We are looking for Chefs de Partie at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

No. of positions – 5

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage and oversee a specific kitchen station, ensuring the preparation and quality of dishes.

  • Adhere to recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

  • Coordinate with the kitchen team, providing effective communication during service.

  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.

  • Monitor and manage inventory for the assigned station, communicating with superiors as needed.

  • Conduct regular quality checks on dishes, making adjustments to meet standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned kitchen station, following hygiene protocols.

  • Adapt to high-pressure situations, handling the pace and demands of peak service times.

  • Understands the guest's expectations related to food quality and presentation.

  • Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input on new ways of presenting dishes.

  • May perform other duties reasonably assigned by the manager. 

 

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English


 

Hourly Rate: $19.50 to $35.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
