Description
We are looking for a Home Child Care Provider to help take care of two children. One young child and the other an infant. This is a full-time position of 8 hours a day from Monday – Friday from 8am – 4pm.
In the morning, you will be responsible for preparing meals for the children. When the parents leave for work, you are responsible for the light housekeeping and to plan and prepare any afternoon snacks and activities for the children. You will be looking after the children, assisting with recreational activities such as physical activities like sports and exercise or arts and crafts to encourage the growth of the child. We are looking for someone who is energetic and caring.
This will involve the care of an infant child. Which includes duties of changing diapers, sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas.
In the afternoon, you will serve any afternoon snacks and while the children are napping you will ensuring the care and upkeep of the children's environment through light housekeeping. You will be performing light housekeeping alongside laundering household linens.
Overall, you will maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home for the children. You will be implementing disciplinary methods instructed by the parents, you will also be looking after the children's emotional needs in absence of the parents. You may organize indoor and outdoor activities for the children that can promote exercise or for educational purposes.
