Job Description:

We are currently seeking a caring and responsible Child Caregiver to work in a private household in Brampton, Ontario. As a caregiver, you will play a key role in the emotional and physical development of the child by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for child in employer’s home

• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment

• Engage the child in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities

• Oversee daily routines including naps, meals, and playtime

• Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care

• Monitor the child’s emotional and physical well-being and report any concerns to parents

Requirements:

• Language: English

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

• Experience: Minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months 

• Must be reliable, patient, and have a genuine love for children

• Must be able to work independently without supervision

• Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child’s progress and well-being

Work Setting:

• Private household

• Work must be completed at the physical location 

• No option for remote work
