Salary: $17.17 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Work setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is not available

Tasks

Assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Personal suitability: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
