Job Summary
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead our team and ensure we provide excellent customer service.
Cleaning Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training, and motivating team members, and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.
Job Duties may include:
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate cleaning staff employees
- Oversee staff performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior on a daily basis
- Plan and prepare employee work schedules and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
- Hire and train new team members
- Maintain inventory, order cleaning supplies, and create maintenance agreements with new clientele
- Assign employees for cleaning services to private and commercial clients
Requirements
- Language: Basic English is a requirement
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
Skills:
- Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing and even in listening
- Excellent decision-making ability
- Integrity and good interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team and most importantly, lead a team
- Ability to follow health and safety standards
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
