Description: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week

Language: English
Education: College CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or euivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Site Environment:
- Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders),
- Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Work Setting:
- Group Home
- Work in employer's/client's home
- Rural area
- Community centre
- Private residence
Responsibilities (Tasks):
- Administrative and office activities
- Appraise client's or eligibility for specific services
- Assess client's relevant skill, strengths and development needs
- Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
- Housekeeping activities
- Food preparation
- Resolve conflict situations
- Implement behaviour management programs
- Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
Credentials:
- Mandt System training
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
