Work location: close to the intersection of Euclid Ave and Melbourne St. Vancouver, BC/private residence
Title of position: Companion
Terms of employment: Full-time, year-round work, 40 hours per week
Duties:
• Provide personal care
• Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping duties related to the person receiving care
• Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Provide companionship
• May shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Other related duties as required
Qualifications and skills:
• Completion of Secondary School.
• Minimum 1-year experience in similar positions OR completion of a training program in a related field is required.
Compensation: $ 19.50/hr. for 40 hrs/week
Work setting: Private home located in Vancouver, BC
Language: English
