H.T. INDUSTRIES INC. is looking for full-time and permanent 1 Construction Estimator at Surrey, BC, V3W 8J9. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $40.30/hr and 30-40 hours/week.


Job Description:

  • Develop cost estimates for labor and materials
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents for client presentations
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements
  • Estimate general expenses and overhead costs
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide preliminary cost estimates for proposed projects
  • Forecast cash flow and financing needs
  • Compile and submit estimate reports, quotations, and bid documents
  • Provide guidance on tendering processes
  • Evaluate tenders and recommend contract awards
  • Establish and manage cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Track and adjust contract expenditures as needed
  • Maintain an updated directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Coordinate and communicate with engineers, architects, clients, contractors, and subcontractors regarding changes and cost adjustments

 

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

  • 2 years to less than 3 years
