Education:
No formal education required.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months of experience is required.
Languages:
Oral and Written English is required
Duties:
1) load and unload construction materials and tools.
2) move materials and tools to work areas.
3) erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and
barricades required at construction sites.
4) mix , pour and spread materials such as concrete.
5) mix, pour drywall mud and paint.
6) assist tradespersons such as carpenter, drywallers, painters, bricklayers, and
cement finisher.
7)assist in drilling cement and wood.
8)assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars ,jack hammer, hammer and
other tools and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials.
9)remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels,wheelbarrows , brooms and others.
10) level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel.
11)operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
12)tend to feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixer,
compressors and pumps.
13) clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and
hazardous materials.
14)perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
