Haru K-BBQ. Is a renowned restaurant in Charlottetown, PE Canada. We are committed to delivering exceptional food and service, and we are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our talented team.

Job Responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and foods with precision and creativity

– Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow

– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure a well-stocked kitchen

– Keep the kitchen and work area clean and organized, adhering to sanitation and safety standards

– Collaborate with the team to plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• 2-3 years of experience working as a cook
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality output and meeting time-sensitive demands
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience

Working Conditions:

• Wage: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour (negotiable), plus 4% vacation pay
• Working hours:  30-40 hours per week (Full-time position)
