Position: food service supervisor

Location: 6021 50 Ave, Vegreville, AB, T9C 1N6

Type: Permanent employment, Full time, 35 hours/week

Start date: As soon as possible

Vacancies: 2

Salary: $18.65/hour or Current Median Prevailing wage in the region

Shift: Flexible including Day, Evening, Weekend

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work setting: Restaurant

Supervision: 3-4 people, 5-10 people,

Tasks

·        Establish methods to meet work schedules,

·        Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,

·        Train staff in job duties,

·        sanitation and safety procedures,

·        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies,

·        Ensure food service and quality control,

·        Address customers' complaints or concerns,

·        Maintain records of stock,

·        repairs, sales and wastage,

·        Prepare and submit reports
