In HALO we have been sharing our passion for Churros since 2019 and continue offering to our customers the
experience of the original crispy and golden classic churro crafted by hand.
We pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchen, and are looking for an experienced and
passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience
preparing Mexican cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment, and is capable of taking direction

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- May set up and oversee buffets
- May clean kitchen and work area
- May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements
- and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May hire and train kitchen staff.
- Cooks may specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes
Job Requirements
- Completion of Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
- 2 or more years of previous experience as a Cook
- Must have knowledge of the Mexican cuisine
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders
- Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
