Sushi Shun in Surrey, BC is looking for a Cook to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 20.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: #102-16780 64 Avenue Surrey, BC V3S 3Y2
Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school education
- 3~5 years of commercial cooking experience
Main Duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine from the menu such as sushi, sashimi, rolls, tempura, teriyaki, udon, salad, etc.
- Plan menu and determine food portions and size
- Prepare authentic Japanese style sauces and salad dressings
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen helpers or new cook with advanced cooking skills
- May clean kitchen and work area
