Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 2179 W 41st Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6M 1Z6

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Strategize and supervise food preparation, assess food needs, and estimate costs to order supplies

·         Supervise kitchen operations and kitchen staffs

·         Keep track of inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Ensure the kitchen is tidy and sanitize work areas

·         Participate in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff for preparation and cooking

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
