Maduban Indian Cuisine Ltd. DBA Madhuban Curry & Grill Nanaimo is looking for 2 full-time Cooks at 135 Nicol Street, Nanaimo, BC, V9R 4T1. Salary is 20 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply).
Job Description:
Learn and prepare the restaurant’s current menu
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
May clean kitchen and work area
May plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
May hire and train kitchen staff.
Employment requirements:
Completion of Secondary School. At least 2-3 years experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment or the combination of education in cooking and at least one year experience of cooking in a commercial kitchen environment.
