Nikko Sushi in Abbotsford, BC is looking for qualified Cooks to join our team.
Position: Cook
Positions Available: 2
Employment Term: Permanent
Hourly Wage: C$17.62 ~ C$19.00
Working Hours: 30.00 ~ 40.00 hours per week (full-time)
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary
Work Location: Abbotsford, BC V2S 2B4
Main Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as tempura, donburi, teriyaki, udon, etc.
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
– Ensure food quality, food safety and sanitation
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers regarding food preparation
– Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking
Language: English
