Description
Sushimate Japanese Restaurant in Langley, BC is looking for competent Cooks to join our team.
Hourly Wage: C$17.62 ~ C$18.50
Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay
Language of Work: English
Number of Positions: Two (2)
Work Location: Langley, BC
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking is required.

Job Duties:
– Prepare and make traditional and modern Japanese dishes from menu
– Complete presentation of dishes and decoration
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment and order supplies
– Ensure standards of food safety and sanitation are adhered
– Train and oversee kitchen helpers
– Maintain work areas clean
