Description
Terms of Employment/Salary:
– Full-time (40 hrs per week)
– Permanent
– Flexible Hours
– $18.00/hour, 2 weeks annual vacation pay
– Number of positions – 2
Job Duties:
– Determine the size of food portions and costs
– Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas
– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Clean kitchen and work areas
Skill Requirements, (including language, education and work experience)
– English
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– 1 year to less than 2 years
Work conditions, physical capabilities, and personal suitability factors:
– Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Client focus, Organized
– Time management.
