Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipe and quality standards.
- Assist in the planning and development of menus.
- Ensure that all food preparation and food handling practices are in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation. Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages and discrepancies.
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
