Food Service Supervisor

• Permanent full time Food Service Supervisor : 1 position.
• Start wage is $19.04/hour.
• 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

Job Duties:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; 
• Ensure food service and quality control;  
• Address customers' complaints or concerns;  
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; 
• Prepare and submit reports;   
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres; 
• Supervise and check assembly of trays; 
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma is required. 
• Must have at least 2 years related experience.  Equivalence considered.

​Kitchen Helper

• Permanent full time Kitchen Helper: 2 positions.
• Start wage is $16.95/hour.
• 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, evenings, nights and weekends. 

Job Duties:

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware; 
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand; Scour pots and pans; 
• Package take-out food; Prepare, heat and finish simple food items; 
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas; 
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash; 
• Sharpen kitchen knives; 
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; 
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. 

Requirements:

• High School diploma is required.  Equivalence considered.
• Experience an asset.
