We are seeking 2 self-motivated Custodians with direct experience working as Janitors or Custodians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible to clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the college building and its surrounding grounds.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant experience to establish their career with a reputable college.

Job Duties:

• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
• May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Janitor or Custodian is a commercial setting would be an asset
• Good time management skills
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communicator.
