Customer Service / Shipper

This is for a full-time position, available immediately. Hours are Mon-Fri (except Thur) 11:00AM-6:30PM, SAT 10:00AM-3:00PM (on rotation). 

Skills & Abilities Required

– Customer Service experience – Customers always come first!
– Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
– Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
– Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
– Proficient with computers, strong typing skills
– Works equally well within a team or individually
– Willing and able to promote products/services, sales experience is an asset
– Positive can-do attitude
– Good sense of humor

*Graphic Design, Printing/Desktop Publishing skills or experience is an asset

Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Service
– Greeting Customers
– Answering Telephone
– Help resolve customer concerns and special requests

Shipping
– PSO (Parcel Shipping Order)
– Shipment Protection Program
– International Shipping Requirements
– Packing Requirements
– UPS Tracking follow-up
– Resolving Customer shipping issues
– Access Point Packages
– Redirected Packages (Non-Box holders)
– Shaw Cable return procedure

Mailboxes
– Renew / Activate new mailbox
– Mail forwarding services

Copy & Print Services
– Fax, email & scanning services
– Basic copy & print jobs (Black & white / colour)
– Taking Print orders: business cards, calendars, greeting cards, etc…

Computer
– UPS Connect
– Selling Customer Quotes / Customer Payments, etc…
– Open / close procedure as required

Down Time
– Dusting / organizing / cleaning
– Assisting other team members as needed

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
