Position: Dairy herdsperson
No of positions: 2
Type of Employment: Full time, permanent with 32-40 hours per week
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location of work – Rur 21, South east 13-41-05-W3, Laird, Saskatchewan, S0K 2H0
Job Duties:
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Co-ordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm workers
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain animal health
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Formulate feeding programs
- Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
Requirements:
- Education: secondary school certificate is required, college diploma or industry courses will be an asset
- Language: knowledge of English language will be an asset
- Experience: minimum 3 years of experience with livestock
- Wage: $ 16.10 hourly
- Flexibility in scheduling and weekend hours are required.
