Compliance Mentorz is a commercial safety consulting company serving companies in Canada. We support companies in identifying and managing the risks to their success and safety with focus on transportation and occupational health and safety. Our goal is to assist you to meet existing provincial, federal and international commercial safety regulations, through a combination of training, mentorship and services.

We are hiring for Full time Database Manager for our office located at 10180 – 101 Street suite 3400 Edmonton, AB T5J 3S4 Canada

Job Duties : 

• Design, develop, and administer database systems to support Compliance Mentorz’s consulting, training, and compliance services.

• Establish and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for database administration, data integrity, security, backup, and recovery.

• Collect, organize, and analyze compliance-related and client data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for reporting and regulatory purposes.

• Plan, coordinate, and implement data migration, integration, and quality assurance processes to maintain system reliability.

• Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate with IT or vendors for technical support.

• Generate compliance and performance reports for management, clients, and regulatory authorities to support audits and decision-making.

• Maintain internal information resources such as contact directories, vendor lists, compliance records, and workflow documentation.

• Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and information flow between compliance, operations, and administrative teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Research and recommend new database tools and technologies to improve efficiency in data storage, retrieval, reporting, and compliance monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection legislation by implementing and monitoring database access controls and safeguarding confidential information.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience

Experience: 5 years or more of relevant work experience in the commercial safety industry.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $45.20 to $48.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
