Job Duties:
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of delivery van drivers to supply products to stores.
- Manages timing and schedule with other departments to complete deliveries on time.
- Organizes routes to guarantee the scheduled deliveries are met in the fastest time possible without any issues.
- Takes care of vehicle maintenance daily and trains other drivers on the team to ensure the vehicles are well maintained and clean.
- Requests and purchases supplies for drivers, keeping track of vehicle expenses.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Provides support, advice and guidance to drivers and monitors in responding to a variety of issues.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
