Diesel Mechanic

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Inspect, maintain, and repair brake systems, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle systems
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and regulatory standards
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in road service calls as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance schedules
• Ability to work 50 hours per week, including potential overtime
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions
• Valid driver’s license
