DRYWALL FINISHER
9934537 Canada Corp. is looking for a Drywall Finisher to help us. Are you a friendly and excellent communicator? Do you love to work in a team and with your hands? Job Title: Drywall Finisher
Hours and Wages: 35.97/hour, 30-40 hours/week
Duties
- Prepare drywall sheets for installation
- Measure, cut, and install drywall.
- Secure to studs and beams using appropriate tools.
- Ensure there are no gaps in drywall by filling gaps
- Seal drywall using compounds and machines
- Apply coats of drywall and ensure a smooth surface by sanding uneven areas.
- Prepare and install ceiling grids to create ceilings
- Apply plaster material to walls and ceilings
- Work in teams, individually, and with supervisor
- Be courteous and friendly to clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar position.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle material of up to 50kg
- Ability to work on tight deadlines in a busy environment
- Ability to work in a team and individually while staying on task
- English is a requirement
- Valid drivers license as you will be driving vehicles to various job sites
