Job Description D S Homes Inc is looking for drywall installer who can start immediately. Our offices are located at Calgary. Work at various locations.
Wages: $27.50 per hour 40 hours per week.
Benefits: as per Alberta standards
Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position
Applicants with part time availability to cover full time shift are encouraged to apply

Job requirements: Language: English
Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Specific Skills: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound, Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using towel and broad knife, cut and install corner beads to protect exterior corners, position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joints. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints, Measure, cut fit and install drywall sheets, smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, noisy and dusty environment
