Job description: This company is looking for two full time, permanent Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join their team.
Job duties:
- Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing crafts.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Help children with proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Submit written observations about children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
- Maintain daycare equipment and help with housekeeping and cooking tasks.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and issues.
- Assist early childhood educators or supervisors with record-keeping as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Experience is an asset
- Completion of an ECE (Early Childhood Educator) certificate program is required.
