Position Info:

• Position: Industrial Meat Cutter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: 700 Grandview Street, Brandon, MB R7A 7L2

 

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay
• Health Care Benefit after 3 months

 

Job Duties:

• Remove bones, viscera, and other inedible parts from carcasses
• Prepare standard cuts of meat
• Perform cutting, trimming, and packaging of prepared meats for further use
• Remove skin, excess fat, as well as any bruises or imperfections from carcasses or meat portions
• Grind and slice cooked meats as necessary
• Organize equipment in the inventory as needed
• Maintain a tidy and clean workplace area

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 7 months to 1 year of related experience is required
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required
