Description
Kids Kingdom Childcare Society a preschool and day care in surrey looking for One Permanent, Full time ECE Assistant to assist in their business and who could join immediately.
Location: 502 Cedar Street Sicamous BC V0E 2V1
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of work: English
Benefits: Group benefits plans Manulife after 3 months probation
Job duties and Responsibilities:
● May wash, change diaper and feed infants and toddlers as per requirement.
● Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
● Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
● Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
● Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators
● Prepare snacks for lunch and rest of the periods and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties
● Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
● Assist early childhood educators in keeping records

Skills and Education required:
Completion of an early childhood education assistant certificate program
At least 1 to 7 months of experience
