We are looking for Ethnic Food Cook for our clients; You will be reporting to the office address 599 Brealey Drive Peterborough, ON K9K 2N7, Canada. However, you will be required to work at various locations in the Region.

Job Duties:
- Create innovative dishes by experimenting with traditional Indian recipes, incorporating regional flavors and seasonal ingredients to diversify the menu.
- Provide guidance to kitchen staff on Indian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation styles to ensure consistency and authenticity in food preparation.
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Set up a workstation with all the needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
- Safely utilize a variety of utensils, including knives.
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bake, roast, broil, steam and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers,clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Prerequisites:
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 17.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
