Eugene Construction is seeking F/T Carpenters.

Position Info:

• Position: Carpenter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $28.00~$31.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 8840 34 Ave NW, Calgary, AB T3B 1R8

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to determine specifications
• Measure and calculate requirements
• Cut, shape, assemble and join materials of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Estimate costs and materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in carpentry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
