1 Farm Supervisors
East West Berry Farm Inc located at 746 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford BC V2T 5X3, is looking for 1 Farm Supervisor to coordinate, schedule and supervise the daily operations of the farm. We are offering 1 full-time, year-round position.
The Farm Supervisor will perform the following duties:
- Co-ordinate and supervise the farm operation.
- Train farm workers to perform specific tasks
- Prepare report and weight the fruit to be sold
- Check irrigation lines, schedule tasks to be performed depending on the season.
- Ability to take the necessary steps to improve the efficiency of the farm operation.
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
The right candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a farm supervisor or training in agriculture is required
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends if required.
- Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions. Heavy lifting required.
We are offering $22.00/hr for 40 hours/week.
