Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Salary: $29.74 hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Caroline, Alberta (1 vacancy)

Languages: English

Skill Requirements:

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Private sector; Rural area; Remote location; Consulting firm; Staff accommodation available

Tasks: Conduct and supervise forest inventory cruises, surveys and field measurement; Enforce environmental, fire safety and accident prevention regulation; Develop and maintain computer databases

Area of specialization: Silviculture; Forest measurement and inventory assessment

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots; Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling;
