The Lobster Man in Vancouver, BC is looking for a Fishmonger to work with our team.
Title: Fishmonger
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 17.00 – CAD 19.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 1807 Mast Tower Road, Vancouver, BC V6H 3X7
Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school education
· Post-secondary education or work experience in related field is an asset.
Main Duties:
· Cutting, cleaning, sorting, portioning fish and shellfish
· Weighing, pricing and packaging seafood
· Arranging displays of seafood and maintaining storage condition
· Advising customers how to store and cook fish properly
· Cleaning tools and working area
· Supervising junior fishmongers
