LENTE is looking for the suitable individuals for food processing labour for its Vancouver, BC location. The details are as follows:

Job title: Food Processing Labourer

NOC: 95106

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: Vancouver, BC

Language: English

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Wages: 17 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Main duties

1.   Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials

2.   Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines

3.   Feed and unload food, and associated products.

4.   Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers

5.   Manually pack goods into bags, boxes or other containers

6.   Upload the filled containers to the trucks.

7.   Clean work areas and equipment

8.   Check products and packaging for basic quality defects

9.   Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.

10. Perform other duties as per instructions.

 

Employment requirements

Previous experience as labour in food processing would be an asset.
