Zoomak Korean Tavern in Vancouver, BC is looking for a competent Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Position: Food Service Supervisor
Position available: 1
Hourly Wage: C$17.00~C$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary
Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-time
Job Location: 52 Alexander St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1B4
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of servers and kitchen helpers who prepare, portion and/or serve authentic and fusion Korean dishes
· Establish work schedules
· Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
· Keep accurate records of stock, sales and wastage
· Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
· Address customers’ complaints or concerns
· Train servers and kitchen helpers in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
· May perform the same duties as workers supervised when needed
Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required.
