Bono Café Inc. dba Café Bono in Coquitlam, BC is looking for a Food Service Supervisor.
Conditions
- Position: Food Service Supervisor
- Working Hours: Full-time, Permanent position, 40 hours/week, 5days/week
- Ability to do shift work according to work schedule (Morning, daytime, evenings, weekend, holiday)
- Hourly Wage: $15.00 – $17.00 (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
- Vacation: 10 days paid vacation/year or 4% gross salary
- Number of Position: 1

Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.

Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff.
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
- Establish work schedule.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Estimate and order supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Perform cashier’s or server’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
