Amorosa Pasta House Inc in Burnaby is looking for permanent, full-time positions for one Food Service Supervisor to assist in running growing firm and could join immediately.
Location: Burnaby, BC
Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $20 per hour
Work hours: Minimum 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and serve food.
- Helps maintain standards for raw and finished product quality, service and speed, quality and cleanliness.
- Ensure staff following job duties and safety procedures.
- Controls labour hours and cash fl ow while on shift
- Helps maintain records for safety and appropriately documents performance and/or incidents in personnel fi les.
- Completes assigned shift paperwork.
- May direct preparation of foods and beverages
- Maintains records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Train new food service staff, Evaluates work performance of staff and report to manager.
- May participate in the hiring of crew members and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets.
- Knows and helps to enforce and educate crew on all appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, and security and safety procedures.
- Shares knowledge and experience with crew
Skills and Education:
1-2 years of related experience
Completion of Secondary School
