Permanent Position: Food Service Supervisor
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening shifts.
Number of Vacancies: 01
Wage Rate: $20.00 per hour, for 37.5 hours per week.
Location: 102-1575 Banks Rd, Kelowna, BC, Canada, V1X 7Y8
Education: High School required
Experience: 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
Languages: English
Work Setting: Restaurant, Person should be able to work in day, evening, weekend, overtime, if required.
Job Duties:
• Supervises employees engaged in serving food and in maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.
• Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations.
• Supervises in serving of meals.
• Inspects kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
• Keeps records, such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees.
• Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees.
• May interview, select, or hire new employees.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
