Café La Forêt in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to work with our team.
Title: Food Service Supervisor
Opening: 2 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 20.00 – CAD 23.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, Extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment
Location: 6848 Jubilee Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5J 4B3
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or related field, or several years of related work experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Train and supervise other food service staff
- Manage food inventory and order ingredients and supplies
- Coordinate work schedule and activities of food service staff
- Work with accounting team to ensure adherence to proper financial and audit controls
- Establish work procedures and record sales and wastage
