Seabest Holdings Ltd. dba Subway in Sidney, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced full-time, permanent Food Service Supervisor.

Conditions:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Full-time, permanent position
• Wage: $20.00 per hour
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, night, weekends, and holidays)
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary
• Positions Available: 1

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
• Language: English

Job Duties:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolley
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Establish work schedules
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns
