Beaufort Pizza & Pasta is looking for Permanent, Full time positions for Food Service Supervisors to assist in running our new and growing restaurant and could join immediately.
Location: 1483 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9S 1G4
Positions Available: 2 (Two)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $15.50 per hour
Work hours: 30 to 40 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and serve food
- Helps maintain standards for raw and finished product quality, service and speed, quality and cleanliness
- Ensure staff following job duties and safety procedures
- Controls labour hours and cash flow while on shift
- Helps maintain records for safety and appropriately documents performance and/or incidents in personnel files
- Completes assigned shift paperwork
- May direct preparation of foods and beverages
- Maintains records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Train new food service staff, Evaluates work performance of staff and report to manager
- May participate in the hiring of crew members and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
- Knows and helps to enforce and educate crew on all appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, and security and safety procedures.
- Shares knowledge and experience with crew
Skills and Education:
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Completion of Secondary School
