A&W is looking for 4 Permanent, Full-time Food Service Workers who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: A2 1966 Guthrie Road Comox, BC V9M 3X7
Position: Food Service Worker
Position Available: 4
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other designated storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage, sweep, and mop floors.
- Wash, peel, and/or cut food items, including fruits, vegetables, or certain types of meats.
- Weigh or measure ingredients (e.g., flour, salt, sugar, oil).
- Re-fill kitchen condiment bottles and shakers.
- Assist the other kitchen staff in unloading shipment of foods and supplies that are needed in the kitchen.
- Make sure the kitchen is in order by stacking dishes, pots, pans, etc. and having them ready for cooking.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chef or Cooks.
Skill Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Relevant 1-2 years of experience is required.
