We are looking for a well experienced Food Service Manager  for the catering firm “Cleese Catering” located at 11 Carlaw Ave Toronto, ON M4M 2R6, Canada.

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate catering operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Ensure that catering events are executed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality food and service standards.

• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise during events and manage problematic situations effectively.

• Manage and train kitchen and service staff, establish schedules, and assess performance to ensure a skilled and efficient team.

• Determine the type of catering services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet client needs.

• Recruit staff and oversee comprehensive training programs to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

• Set staff work schedules and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery.

• Control inventory levels and monitor revenues to optimize profitability and minimize waste.

• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, negotiate favorable arrangements with suppliers, and manage client relationships for successful catering events.
   

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 2-3 years of experience in the food industry

Language: English

Annual Salary: $ 60,000  to $ 65,000 annually for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
