Permanent Position: Framer Carpenter

(Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.)

Wage rate: $37.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week

Education: Not required

Experience: 2-3 years of experience

Language: English.

Job Duties:

·         Perform all aspects of carpentry work including measuring and cutting materials, constructing structures, and installing fixtures.

·         Demolition and site prep is occasionally required.

·         Work with a wide range of tools including power saws, hammers, drills, and hand tools.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

·         Install and maintain interior and exterior finishes such as, trim, siding, and roofing.

·         Build and install counters, and other custom woodworking projects

·         Estimate materials and labor costs for projects

·         Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards

·         Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area

·         Provide training and guidance to apprentice as needed

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
