Frying Pan is looking for full-time Cooks.

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.00~$21.00/hour (depending on Experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1101 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 2M7

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare a variety of food items utilizing standardized recipes and cook complete dishes

·         Ensure that the food preparation area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

·         Oversee the kitchen and food-prep areas

·         Maintain and record accurate food, supplies, and inventories

·         Ensure staff is trained on each menu item properly

·         May plan menus and costs based on food requirements

·         Monitor and order supplies and ingredients

·         May assist in hiring and training new kitchen staff

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
