Main duties
• Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the company
• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
• Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff
• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement company policies and programs
• Establish financial and administrative controls
• Formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
• Coordinate the work of departments
• Represent the company to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.
• Communicate with the key customers, such as big contractors, for the products promotion and cooperation.
• Mainly supervising the department of Market, Finance and Administrative and Human Resources.
• Report to board of directors
Employment requirements
• Diploma in related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be an asset.
• 10+ years of work experience in similar field with 5+ years of management experience is required.
• Candidates with prior experience of management in publicly traded companies will be given a priority.
• Exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, team player and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, independent and prioritize is a must.
